"C L A S S M A T E S" & 'C A R S' 'Cars' Page - 2 Thanks to Roger Greathouse, Michelle Heu, and Jeanne Black for the inspiration about creating a car page for the Classmates. These first photos are just the start of the cars page. If it ever quits snowing here in Carlsbad Roger and I will take photos of our Mustang's and post them. I know many of you out there have "cool" cars, send me pics of them so we all can see. What a deal !!! Michelle (Heu) Singleton and Jeanne Black Somewhere along Route 66, in looks like a 1956 T-Bird. WOW !!!!
Snap shot of my "1968 Dodge Charger RT". Some kind of Horsepower, was like waving a Red Flag in front of a bull and the BULL being the Carlsbad Police Department. Alas someone wanted it more than I did, sold in 2000. Fun while it lasted !!!!
Here is a bad picture of my good Sally. She was in the shade, but i
dont have a good picture of her in the sun...just like a 42-yr old
woman...she's beginning to show her wrinkles and heavy make-up, and
I don't have the money for the Botox that it would take...but she is
good to take out and cruise...i just pop some of my music in and
pressing things seems to be left behind as I listen to "Summer
Place", "Venus", a few from the Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, Stuck in
the Sixties BAND, and maybe some "newer" ones from The Beatles, and
occasionally even Iron Butterfly gets me off.
I bought her from one of my neighbors in 2003. She has a 289ci original engine with a stock carburator and automatic transmission. I hope to have enough money saved up to fix her up soon--- (...as my 'doctor son' is taking his sweet time in finishing his education). All I have had money for is to install a dual exhaust system with Cherrybomb mufflers which practically don't...muffle, that is...makes my skin crawl and smile like the morning after...ha ha. Keep up the good life...as long as it lasts. Here's to all the
Mustangs out there!

Here is a Karmann Ghia one of our Classmates once drove. Anyone out there know who this car belonged to??????
Oh, and by the way, nice pic of the Karmann Ghia. It's Dan's now,
but I sure had fun back in the 60's, 70's driving that around.
Those wheels still look good, don't you think? Mother bought it off
the showroom floor at the VW dealership in Roswell. Hot stuff!
