When we meet to work on the reunion we always reminisce about our High School days and wild stories abound. At this meeting Mike Veilleux was asking about the whereabouts of Willie Jordan, none of us were sure but most thought he is deceased. Mike said at Eisenhower Jr. High one day back in the 60's Willie Jordan and Ed Garcia got into a bad fight in the hall during class change (as you will remember) these two guys were big guys and everyone was afraid of them. Poor Mike was at his locker getting some books when the fight broke out right in front of his locker. Mike said all he wanted to do was get away from them but they were throwing each other around so violently he couldn't get away for fear of getting hit by them. So Mike did the next best thing he could think of...... He just stuck his head into his locker until it was over. We all had a good laugh. Mike Veilleux is the Postmaster here in Carlsbad.
