2007  C carlsbad  A area  R restoration S society  SHOW

The CARS club puts on a beautiful car show in June of each year.  Being a member of the club, i go each year and this years show was a great one.

Below are some pics of not only cars but some of our classmates who were at the show.

Not sure but I think the Red Chevelle belongs to Jimmy Fry (CSHS 1968).  Jimmy looks like he is relaxed, he should be he just retired last year from teaching at CSHS.  Jimmy has restored a bunch of cars and he is good at it.

JoAnn (Slusher)  Madron & her husband Cecil.  JoAnn is a 1967 CSHS classmate.  I finally talked JohAnn into letting me take her picture but still had to get Cecil over next to her to hold her still.  They are standing in front of their son's beautiful 1965, Red, Pony Package Mustang.

Don't know who the car belonged to but it sure brings back memories, 1967 Canary Yellow Camero with a 327.  Man would those cars go !

Luke Meadors (CSHS 1967) and his beautiful 1948 Chevy 1/2 Ton pickup.  Not bad for a "ole Arkansas boy".  Luke is a master at restoration.  There are some of his other cars on    'Cars' Page - 2   have a look.

Houston Journey (CSHS 66 ?) and Marilla Denny (CSHS 1968)                    Jim Denny (CSHS 1967) .                 Houston is Lavina Journey's (CSHS) 1967) Brother.                                                                                                            Wonder whats in that can ???

Eddy Kenney showing some of  the Fine points on his 2007 Mustang GT.  Sweet Car !!!

Roger Greahouse's 1998 Mustang GT Convertible, Great under the hood detail.  Roger was one of the Judges at this years car show.  He is a CSHS 1967 classmate.

Brings back memories  '65 Chevy Impala Super Sport.                                 1967 Mustang Fastback

Van Nunley (CSHS 1966).  Van is the Brother of Junior Nunley (CSHS 1967)  Van works for Fordtown in Carlsbad.

Thought I would put this up for those of you who have forgot what one looks like or have not seen a New Mexico Thunder Storm Cloud before.  I took this picture looking East on Green St. Just 2 blocks from the Main Drag.   I was on my way to the Class Reunion meeting at Carolyn and Jim's on Thursday night.  Pictures still don't do these magnificent storms justice.
