EGADS...... it only took a couple of hours for Carol (Forni) Bryan to email me and identify the photo below as Eva (Doporto) Lopez and her Husband David Lopez! Very good Carol, you guys are paying attention. Ok, Who can identify this good looking couple. Took this picture in "Fashion Eyewear" couple of mornings ago, Both are "1967 Classmates", told me they been married for either 39 or 40 years. Who Is This Lovely young Lady ?????? Another 1967 Classmate, 1st pic long time ago (circa Easter, 1954 1st Baptist church Carlsbad) she's in the middle along side a couple of other "hoodlums" 2nd pic Eddy Elementary School photo, and 3rd pic is couple days ago Carlsbad Public Library. Hello, Hello..... Julia Beal emailed me the next morning after I posted the Pics of this young lady correctly identifing her as Kathy Goodman Meyer. Kathy works for Wal-Mart here in Carlsbad. The two guys with her in the 1st picture are (left) David Goodman and Right Lanny Barnett. Thanks Julia, looking forward to seeing you soon.

He still looks like HE could play on the team. Ran into Thomas Earl Monday morning at North Mesa Senior Rec Center while he was working out. Had a great visit and took this photo.

Tom Forni - Ray Foster - Tim Duddie, "1967" Cavemen Football. Please allow me a personal note about Coach Tom Forni. All past and present athletes of Carlsbad Senior High School have the highest respect for Thomas Earl. His name is respectfully mentioned anytime Cavemen sports are talked about. I know Tom has coached at least 2 young men who have went on to play for Major League Baseball teams, (Shane Andrews, Montreal Expos) & (Cody Ross, L.A. Dodgers). Stadiums and Schools have in the past been named for Great Carlsbad coaches and I believe there should and will be one named for our "1967" Classmate Thomas Earl Forni. Tommy Forni rejects any recognition of himself or his ability to bring out the best in young athletes. Tom will probably "put it on me" for saying this but the "truth is the truth". lb
